Band Camp 2024 dates announced
With the new school schedule for 2024-25 (approved in January),
school starts much earlier than we are used to, and so does band camp!
Please mark your calendars now as you are making summer plans:
Band Camp 2024: July 22 - August 2
First day of school: August 12
First home football game: August 23
April 19: All County Jazz Concert: East Forsyth
Congratulations to the Reagan students who have been selected for the WS/FCS All-County Jazz Band!
Friends and family are welcome to attend the FREE concert. Come enjoy amazing jazz performed by talented students from across our county.

April 20: Solo & Ensemble at Reagan
What is Solo & Ensemble?
It's an opportunity for students to perform (solo or as part of a small group) for a judge and receive feedback.
Reagan is excited to host music students from across our county to show off their talent and skills.
Parents: We will need volunteers and donations for concessions. Please watch for signup emails.
Students: Sign up to volunteer.
April 11-13: Spring Trip: Concert Review
The Band of Raiders welcomes home our students, parents and staff who traveled to the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Concert Review: Read the WP review of the National Symphony Orchestra concert we attended at the Kennedy Center: Guest conductor Xian Zhang makes herself at home with the NSO. (You should be able to read the article free once without signing up for WP subscription.)

Record Season Sweep: 4-Time Grand Champions
Congratulations to the Marching Band of Raiders! Grand Champions in all 4 competitions:
- Maiden Tournament of Bands
- Mt. Airy Festival of Bands
- N Wilkes Viking Clash of Bands
- E. Lincoln Carolina Classic
BOR took 1st place 4 times for:
percussion, color guard,
music, marching, general effect, overall. Drum majors brought home trophies for 1st, 2nd x2, and 3rd places. What a season!

Your hard work and beautiful impact on the show are greatly appreciated and applauded.
The BOR wishes the guard continued success for the rest of the fall marching season and into the upcoming the Winter Guard season.

Whether marching on the field from back to front (and everywhere in between), or jamming it out down front – the percussion keeps it all together with power and energy.

Marching band is first and foremost: music and marching. Students' phenomenal time and dedication bring the director's musical selections to life. Staff, students, parents: great work!
