City of the Arts Jazz Festival

Description

The City of the Arts Jazz Festival is a one day festival hosted at Reagan High School on Saturday, May 7, 2022, that provides a unique educational jazz experience and opportunity for high school and middle school jazz bands. The jazz festival features performances by up to 15 school groups, educational clinics, jam sessions, evaluations, and headline performances led by professional jazz musicians and educators. Held in conjunction with the Northwest North Carolina Bandmasters Association Solo and Ensemble Festival, Reagan High School typically hosts over 600 student performers on festival day.
