MPA = Music Performance Adjudication, our biggest event of the year for our two orchestras.

Band Camp 2024 dates announced

With the new school schedule for 2024-25 (approved in January),
school starts much earlier than we are used to, and so does band camp!

 

Please mark your calendars now as you are making summer plans:

Band Camp 2024: July 22 - August 2

First day of school: August 12

Congratulations to the Marching Band of Raiders! Grand Champions in all 4 competitions:

- Maiden Tournament of Bands

- Mt. Airy Festival of Bands

- N Wilkes Viking Clash of Bands

- E. Lincoln Carolina Classic

 

BOR took 1st place 4 times for:

percussion, color guard,

music, marching, general effect, overall. Drum majors brought home trophies for 1st, 2nd x2, and 3rd places. What a season!

Marching band is first and foremost: music and marching. Students' phenomenal time and dedication bring the director's musical selections to life. Staff, students, parents: great work!
