Competition Volunteers

Timing for each competition event will be shared by Mr. Johnston shortly before each event. Best practice is to assume this will be your full day.

Pit Crew

The Pit Crew loads the trailers at Reagan and travels to the show venue.

At the competition, the Pit Crew unloads the trailers and assists the students in getting all the equipment to the field and set up for the performance.

After the performance, remove all equipment from the field, load back onto the trailers and back to Reagan to be unloaded.

If you are interested in being a part of the Pit Crew we would love to have you! Sign up by clicking HERE and select Jamboree and/or Competitions.

Please contact Brent Sapp at 678-350-3591 or email if you have any questions.

For both the Pit Crew (above) and the Prop Squad (below) it is important to be at most, preferably all, of the events. You will be assigned a very specific job for getting your "item" onto and off of the field. For competitions we are timed.

Prop Squad

The Prop Squad has been working hard to get all the visual effects ready for the show.

For competition days they will need many hands to assist in placing the props (train, depot station, stage, crossing arm, and modesty panels) on the field before the show.

After the performance, we will need to remove the items from the field and pack them on trailers to be transported back to Reagan.

If you are interested in being a part of the Prop Squad we would love to have you! Sign up by clicking HERE and select Jamboree and/or Competitions.

Please contact Jared Aller at 415-465-2627 or email with any questions.

Bus Chaperone

This job begins shortly before loading the busses. The volunteer coordinators (Amanda & Michael) will have snacks and waters for each bus. You will also have a chaperone bag of supplies and a bus roster.

You are responsible for checking in all students and making sure all the same students return on your bus (unless you have a signed note from a parent).

This job ends once we return to Reagan and disembark the buses.
